Billy Mintz drums Billy Mintz's musical experience covers an amazing spectrum of styles, from rock, funk, odd-metered latin and show tunes, to disco, and, the field of jazz where he is an acknowledged master of the drum. Mr. Mintz has toured and recorded with such notables as Eddie Daniels, Vinny Golia, Charles lloyd, Alan Broadbent, Mike Garson, Bobby Shew, Gloria Gaynor, and Juliet Prowse throughout Europe, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. Also a clinician he teaches occasionally at the Dick Grove School of Music, has published a very successful drum book, Different Drummers and is awaiting the release of his second book, Advanced Sticking and Sight Reading.
