John Fumo is a sought-after trumpet, flugelhorn, and electric trumpet player who maintains an active performing, recording, and touring schedule.
He has released three CDs to date, the most recent being Strange and Wonderful featuring his wife, singer Kelly Fumo; they perform together often at LA nightspots.
He has played and recorded with many diverse artists including: Neil Young, Brian Setzer, Tierra, Rudy Regalado (a burning LA Salsa band), Vinny Golia, John Rapson, and Wayne Peet's Doppler Funk. "After the Fact" (9 Winds), his first album under his own name, was released in 1986.
He has also performed on a dozen film scores, and his TV appearances include The David Letterman Show and The Tonite Show.
